Alphonse Gabriel's Travelogue: Crossing the Sahara

Dr. Alphonse Gabriel, who was actually an Austrian physician, traveled to Iran three times with his wife (Agnes-Gabriel-Kumer). His first trip was in 1928 and the second trip in 1933, the report of which was published under the title "In the Far East of the World". Dr. Gabriel crossed the Iranian deserts during this trip and studied them in terms of geography, geology, botany and zoology in a scientific survey. The results of this study were finally published under the title of "Crossing the Sahara".
